Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club - Kapiti Coast, New Zealand

After experiencing my first 4.1 earthquake at 7:30 in the morning (apparently NZ has over 500 per year), we were off to Paraparaumu Beach, our final stop on the golf course architecture tour in New Zealand.

Green surrounds with tightly cropped turf created challenging and interesting approach shots.  A near miss could easily mean a lost stroke.

  1. Paraparaumu golf course is indeed challenging, based on your pictures, Kari. I'll add this course to the list of places where I want to play golf. I'm planning on traveling the world just to drive balls.

We're presently enjoy playing at these golf courses in Memphis, TN. They have great courses and amenities. Visit them if ever you're in Memphis.
